I’ve been enjoying using this ecru kit since day one and now it’s my first step before making my #Everclear tincture.
This is the most in-depth design dedicated to herbal decarboxylation I've seen by far. Two most important for a perfect decarb graph is time and temperature, and the ecru kit covers it all and makes it beyond.
For anyone who doesn't know or interested to try #tincture, I have to say this is by far my favorite way of ingestion. The category of ingestion goes to #sublingual dosing which means absorption under the tongue. The bloodstream and tissue under the tongue and around the gum or cheek is rich which allows chemicals to enter the bloodstream faster than any form of edibles. A treat normally takes more than an hour to be effective while evaporated #Everclear sublingual take around 5 to 10 mins for you to notice.
If you think tincture is a good way to go, then we need to think about what kind of solvent to make the tincture potent and effective, also if possible, make it taste good. Strong liquor has been used to achieve best compound dissolution. Options of Everclear (my favorite), Spirytus are ideal for its high alcohol content, but it might burn in your tongue like taking a brandy shot. Remember tincture does not have to be taken alone to achieve desired results. Diluting it to any cold or warm drinks, juices or team can reduce the alcohol burn. I enjoy making myself fruity flavor cocktails when I feel like it. This is my way of making my tincture not burn while maintaining its effectiveness.
If you don't want any alcohol in your drinks
If you don't want any Everclear drinks, vegetable glycerin is also a very nice base of tincture if you think about its taste and its effectiveness. You can easily put it under your tongue, letting it soak. Generally glycerin tastes a bit sweeter and slimy. Coconut oil works also fine. Coconut oil tincture can be easily incorporated into salves and balm. Coconut oil is odorless and tasteless naturally. If you incorporate herbs correctly, (ideally #qwet method prior to infusing), you won’t get bothered by the smell of herb. MCT could be better if budget is not your concern. Any form of tincture should be stored in a dark brown or black container to maintain its potency. Though I never heard of expired tincture, I always prefer fresh ingredients when talking about drinks and food for me and my family.
Conclusion:
The tincture is a great idea if you want to digest cannabinoids easily. Tincture also gives you the option to incorporate it into food and drink or even digest it sublingually. So get yourself some high-quality bud and a base you would like and get started.
